We are delighted to announce our phased re-opening from 8 June 2020, and are very much looking forward to welcoming you back to The Mead.
Whilst we would like to see all of our patients as soon as possible, we will need to prioritise the first appointments for those patients with urgent care needs and emergencies. We will then see patients who had unfinished treatments, before moving on to routine dental care appointments. We have professional guidelines to follow which take into account many factors including the national alert level and social distancing rules, and as such, it will be an evolving phased return in order to reopen safely taking into account every individual patients’ risk factors.
We are particularly aware of the loyalty of our Plan membership and in order to repay some of this support we are prioritising rebooking your postponed appointments and will not be passing on any extra charges for PPE.
As I am sure you can appreciate this is a time consuming process, but our wonderful reception team are making progress.
To help us to get back to normal and to see as many patients as possible, our opening hours will be extended. This also allows for extra time needed to clean between appointments.
Whilst being closed we have invested in the highest standards of PPE, cleaning, air purification and safety protocols, making the environment the safest possible for our patients and teams.
We will be in touch with all our patients shortly to resume normal care, so you do not need to contact us at this moment. If you do NOT have a dental emergency at present, we ask kindly that you bear with us and we will arrange your routine appointment as soon as we can.
During this time, our teams are still here for you , with Laura and Raj available for telephone or video consultations (where possible), helping us to assess your needs, provide advice and reduce the number of face to face appointments you require.
